Plans
Each plan is a 12-month commercial license for PineForge codegen and PineForge HPO (pineforge-hpo, from version 0.11.0), for the whole organization, with no limit on users (Solo: for the licensee alone). Prices are per year, by plan and band.
- USD, plus tax where it applies; paying in your own currency includes the provider's conversion fee; you can pay in USD.
- For business use: every order is for a licensee buying for its trade, business or profession.
- No free trial: a paid 60-day pilot is available (below).
- Plans renew automatically each year unless you cancel, with reminders 30 and 7 days before. While you renew, your price never rises: if your option's list price falls, you pay the lower price, and a move to another band takes that band's list price. A renewal can be held for a quote, when your amounts move into a band sold by invoice, or for a sanctions review; it stops if the order is refunded, lost in a payment dispute, refused, or left unpaid for 30 days.
- No refunds after purchase, except where the law requires one, for a duplicate or mistaken charge, and in the cases the agreement lists, such as a renewal charged without its 30-day reminder that you cancel within 30 days. - Any order from $5,000 can be bought by invoice or purchase order, at list price. Orders from $13,500 include email support, with a reply within 2 business days.

Which number you state
- Managers of others' capital state their AUM: the others' capital they manage, advise on or trade across the whole firm, whether or not with the software (regulatory AUM where a filing states it, else the average of its last 3 month-end values), plus their own trading capital.
- Owners of capital state only their own trading capital: the net liquidation value of the accounts traded with the software (the sleeve), on the same 3-month-end average; borrowing adds nothing. Own capital is what the licensee and its wholly owned subsidiaries own with no outside investor, client or beneficiary: a fund, pooled vehicle, managed account or other entity with outside holders holds others' capital, counted as AUM (Fund), even when the licensee controls it. An endowment, a public pension or public fund and a foundation's treasury count their own investment capital the same way: they pay on that sleeve, not on the whole fund.
- Exchange-rate moves count as market movement. You state the number at checkout, with how it was measured and as of which date.
Solo

- Permits
- One natural person: for a company they wholly own (alone or with their household, holding only their household's capital, with no one outside the household working on its trading or research), research, backtesting and trading of own capital up to $10M; and, in their own name or through that company, up to $1M of capital that is not theirs: funded-trader challenge, evaluation, simulated and funded accounts at their nominal size, and the money of relatives outside the household, friends or first clients held in their own accounts, combined. Above $10M of own trading capital, the Team band for that amount applies; above $1M of others' capital, the Fund band for the AUM. Trading in your own name, for your own account and with your own capital, stays free.
- Not covered
- Others' capital above $1M or pooled in a fund (that is Fund), embedding in a product, a hosted service, use by anyone else, and a company where anyone outside the household works on trading or research (that is Team).

- Permits
- Use by, for, or on behalf of one organization, by any number of its people: internal research, backtesting, and trading of the organization's own capital, which it and its wholly owned subsidiaries own with no outside investor, client or beneficiary. Priced by own trading capital: the net liquidation value of the own capital it trades with the software, on the 3-month-end average; borrowing adds nothing. A company that does not trade is in the first band. A band covers amounts over its lower limit, up to and including its upper limit. Above $50M, Team is priced as the Fund band for that amount: for the same capital, Team never costs more than Fund.

- Managing, advising on, or trading others' capital, a fund, pooled vehicle or managed account with outside holders included even when you control it, plus use for your organization, within an assets-under-management band: firm-wide others' capital plus own trading capital; also the investment capital of endowments, public pension and public funds and foundation treasuries, counted where traded with the software. A band covers AUM over its lower limit, up to and including its upper limit. No limit on users. Internal use only.

- Embedding in a product or a hosted service for third parties.

- Permits
- Embedding the software or its output in a product or service made available to others, distributing either bundled with such a product or service, or operating a hosted, SaaS, or public-facing service with it, within the products and monthly active end users shown. A user is a natural person, other than your own staff, for whom the product ran the software or its Output in that month, counted as the average of the 3 highest months of the term; a product whose users cannot be counted (an anonymous public service, for example) is sold by quote. Startup and Growth are for a group, parents and sister companies included, with revenue under the amount shown. Includes the Team uses for the licensee's own staff, with own trading capital up to $10M; more needs a Team plan as well.
- Not covered
- Managing, advising on, or trading others' capital (use 1); giving end users the software or the generated source code; offering transpilation as a product, tool or API.

Pilot: 60 days
$1,500.00 one-time
Internal evaluation only: research, development, backtesting and simulated trading; no live trading, no product launch. It does not renew. Its fee is credited, up to that plan's first-year price, against your first annual plan bought during the pilot or within 30 days after it ends. One pilot per licensee; it is not a free trial.
Academic and public research: free
Schools, universities, public research organizations, charities and government institutions use PineForge codegen and PineForge HPO (pineforge-hpo, from version 0.11.0) free for teaching, research and their other operations: there is no license to buy. Investment management is not free: an endowment, a pension or public fund or a foundation's treasury needs the Fund plan.
